Learn the oldest technique used in fine art printmaking of woodcut at 1 day workshop

This relief printmaking workshop focuses on the themes of oracle bone script and Christmas. Participants will learn basic knowledge of relief printmaking (the workshop will use lithographic plates for printing), including drawing, transferring designs, carving, and printing. Each participant will complete at least five prints, with paper dimensions of 7.5 cm x 12.5 cm.

**Participants will receive a special edition woodblock print of oracle bone script for Christmas, hand-printed by Jay (Image 2/Image 3, randomly included).**

About artist:

Jay Lau Ka-chun is studying Master of Fine Arts in the Department of Fine Arts, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received Hong Kong Open Printshop’s “Hong Kong Fine Print” award in 2019. His art practice focuses on printmaking also sculpture, moving images and photography.

甲骨文x聖誕 凸版畫印刷工作坊

內容：

是次凸版畫工作坊以甲骨文和聖誕作為主題，參加者可學會基本凸版畫印刷知識（是次工作坊將以膠版作印刷），包括繪圖、過稿、雕刻和印刷，並親手完成最少5個版次、紙張尺寸為（7.5cm X12.5cm)的版畫作品。

**參加者可獲贈Jay親手印制的甲骨文聖誕特別版木刻版畫（圖2/圖3，隨機附送）**

時間： 2pm - 6pm

課程規模：8人-以先到先得的原則預訂的課程。

費用：$500/人所有材料、工具都包括在內，並將由工作室提供。工作室使用油性油墨。
無需任何經驗。

👨🏻‍🎨 課程導師
劉家俊，現就讀香港中文大學藝術系藝術碩士，2019年獲香港版畫工作室頒發「Hong Kong Fine Print」獎項。曾從事不同兼職，包括畫班導師、教學助理、技術人員、藝術品搬運佈置員、藝術圈臨時工作者等。現時以版畫作為主要創作媒介，同時亦會創作雕塑、錄像和攝影，當中最喜歡的是錄像作品。
